It is intended for delivery to school staff or any other audience who thinks the content may be useful.
What are the aims?
The CHW animation workshop aims to further assist professionals:
• to understand that students with an intellectual or developmental disability (IDD) are more likely to have additional mental health problems and challenging behaviours
• to identify students who may need help (what to notice)
• to build on existing strategies for supporting students in the classroom
• to know where to direct students who need additional assistance.
