We would like to share the Spring 2021 newsletter edition from Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network (JHFMHN) School-Link team!
This edition focuses on sensory processing and the use of sensory modulation in supporting the mental health, wellbeing, education and overall daily functioning of young people. Articles explore how children and young people experiencing difficulties with sensory processing can exhibit challenges with their emotion regulation and problems engaging in everyday activities and includes practical strategies to support young people using sensory modulation.
JHFMHN School-Link supports the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people in contact, or at risk of contact, with the NSW criminal justice system. This is a specialised program working to support young people in custody and in the community across NSW with strong partnership with child and adolescent mental health, Youth Justice and Education services.
